Our Story: The Journey Behind The Travel Bra

Back in 2015, founder Dr. Annie Holden, was a passionate solo traveler exploring the vibrant cultures and breathtaking landscapes of the world. As an anthropologist with over 20 years of international experience, Annie worked closely with women—from Indigenous Australian communities to marble miners in Rajasthan—empowering them to thrive despite challenges. Her journeys to remote places often meant no ATMs, no hotel safes, and the constant worry of keeping her valuables safe. Enter the need for pickpocket-proof travel clothing.

Frustrated by clunky money belts that screamed "tourist" and were a nightmare to wear in the heat, Annie envisioned a smarter solution. She teamed up with top designers, including lingerie expert Brenda Barnett, to create the ultimate anti-theft travel bra—a game-changing innovation that’s comfortable, discreet, and secure. This unique design combines hidden compartments for essentials like cash, passports, and cards with breathable, quick-drying fabrics for all-day comfort. It’s no wonder it’s become an award winner in travel clothing.

Our mission is to do all we can to encourage and support women, of all ages, on all adventures, to travel and to do so safely and comfortably. We respect the planet that we live on and so we aim to minimise our imprint by using sustainably sourced materials and recyclable and re-useable packaging wherever possible.
